Achieving medals in various Sports events has become a way of life with International Fateh Academy. In the PARS Roller Skating Championship played on Dec. 4th and 5th, 2010 at St. Francis School, Amritsar Cantt., a total of 24 medals were swept away by 13 participants with the tally standing at 14 Gold, 4 Silver and 6 Bronze in the Rink Race I and II of the Adjustable Category.
The young achievers who excelled are as follows:-
Guntas Singh, Upnindenjit Singh, Anmolpreet Kaur, Harmilap Singh, Dilpreet Singh and Kanwaljit Kaur bagged 2 gold medals each in their respective age groups. Anureet Kaur secured one gold, Saizalpreet Kaur one silver and one bronze, while Gurbir Singh secured two bronze, Ravinder Singh, one silver, Tanveer Singh one silver and one bronze, Puneet Kaur one gold and one silver and Atamjit Singh won 2 bronze medals.
In the Fencing Championship held at Tarn Taran our young participants displayed their skill and 2 bronze medals were secured by Jagbir Singh and Harjot Singh.
The credit for this achievement goes to the regular practice sessions by students under the guidance of experienced coaches and, the Chairman, S. Jagbir Singh’s cooperation and consistent support in providing the required infrastructure. Director (Academics) and Principal of IFA with the winners.
