Dedicated to the ‘Pehla Parkash Divas’ of Guru Granth Sahib ji, International Fateh Academy organized “Gurbani Kanth Muqabla’ from Aug. 30 to Sept. 01, 2011, for IFA students. A special team of religious personalities was invited for impartial selection of winners (three each from every class and section). The 3 day program culminated in celebrations and prize distribution on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 in a specially organized programme in the school campus. The students and Hazoori Ragi, Sri Harmandir Sahib Bhai Gurpreet Singh ji enthralled the congregation with their rendition. To do us the honours, we had the benign presence of Giani Gurbachan Singh ji, Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib ji and S. Jaswinder Singh ji, Gurudwara Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji, Manchester, UK who very kindly gave away the special prizes to the winners and consolation prizes to all participants to appreciate them for their endeavour. S. Jagbir Singh, Chairman, IFA also motivated the students to abide by the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib ji and tread the path shown by the Gurus. On this occasion S. Jaswinder Singh Ji, Manchester UK was honoured for his services to the Sikh Panth with a special Award. The celebrations wound up with Ardas and Langar for all.
